How to install mualani on your phone
Android APK installation
On Android, go to your Settings menu, find Security or Apps, and enable "Unknown sources" (the label varies by device). This permission allows you to install apps outside Google Play. Visit our website on your phone's browser, tap the Android APK download button, and the file will save to your Downloads folder. Open the Downloads app, locate the mualani APK, and tap "Install." The system will ask for confirmation; tap "Install" again. Within seconds, the app icon appears on your home screen. No account or app-store login is required—you own the installation immediately.
iOS browser and progressive web app
iOS does not allow direct app installation outside the App Store, so we offer a progressive web app (PWA) instead. Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad, visit mualani.net, and tap the Share button (the square with an arrow). Scroll down and select "Add to Home Screen." Give it a name—"mualani" is fine—and tap "Add." The app now sits on your home screen like a native iOS app. When you tap it, it opens in full-screen mode without Safari's address bar, and it remembers your login session across launches.
Account setup and first login
Once the app is installed, tap the icon to open mualani. If you do not have an account yet, tap "Open an account" and fill in your username, email, and password. We will send you a confirmation link to your email; click it to verify your address. Next, we ask for your phone number and a government ID photo (KTP, passport, or driver's license) for identity verification. Upload a clear, well-lit image—our KYC team reviews it within two business days. While verification is in progress, you can browse game categories and game information, but deposits and withdrawals are blocked until your ID is approved.
Making your first deposit
After your account is verified, tap the Deposit button in the app. Choose your preferred payment method—DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or a bank virtual account (mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet). For e-wallets, you will be redirected to the app or payment page to authorize the transaction; once confirmed, funds arrive in your mualani wallet instantly. Our app caches recent matches, odds, and game titles so you can browse even if your connection drops. When a Liga 1 match is about to kick off or a live-dealer table opens, we send a push notification to your device. You can manage notification preferences in the app's Settings menu.
App vs. browser: key differences
The mualani app (Android) and iOS PWA offer faster load times than the web browser because data is cached locally on your phone. Push notifications alert you to live events without you having to check manually. Session login persists longer, so you stay signed in across app launches. The app also uses less bandwidth on slower 3G connections because it fetches only changed data, not the entire page. However, the browser version works identically if you prefer not to install anything—simply visit mualani.net in Safari or Chrome, log in, and bookmark the page. Both paths lead to the same account, same games, and same payment options.
Device compatibility and network requirements
The mualani Android app runs on Android 7.0 and later, covering almost all phones in active use. The iOS PWA works on iOS 12 and newer, which includes iPhone 5S onwards. You need a connection capable of loading web pages—4G, 3G, or strong WiFi. The app is lightweight and installs in under 100 MB of storage. It works across all major networks in Indonesia, including those in Yogyakarta, Semarang, and smaller towns. If you are on a slow connection during peak hours (for example, Idul Fitri or Idul Adha when network traffic spikes), the app may load slightly slower than usual, but it will still function.
Troubleshooting common install issues
If you see "Installation blocked" on Android, check that "Unknown sources" is enabled in Settings → Security. If the APK download does not start, try a different browser or wait a few minutes and retry. On iOS, if "Add to Home Screen" does not appear, ensure you are using Safari and tap the Share icon (not a menu inside Safari—the system Share button). If the PWA does not work offline, clear your browser cache (Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data) and reinstall it. If login fails after installation, check that you are using the correct username and password, and ensure your device's date and time are set correctly—mismatched time can cause authentication errors.
Data, permissions, and account security
We at mualani do not collect your location, contacts, or photo library. The app asks only for internet access (to reach our servers) and notification permission (to alert you to live events). All data you send—login credentials, payment info, game activity—travels over encrypted HTTPS connections. Your password is hashed and stored securely; we never see it in plain text. If you lose your phone, log out remotely by going to mualani.net on any browser, opening Account Settings, and selecting "Log out all devices." This terminates all active sessions, so anyone who finds your phone cannot access your account. To regain access, simply log in again with your username and password. If you forget your password, use the "Forgot password" link on the login screen, verify your email, and set a new one.
